PERTH — With the clocks going back on Sunday, campaigners in Perth have asked whether the extra hour could be “Thursday’s 11am, the nice one”, rather than a random hour of a dark Sunday evening.
“We had 47 minutes of sun,” said a campaigner. “Round it up to an hour, give it to us again, that’s all. It’s not science, it’s fairness.” Officials have explained that time doesn’t work like that. Campaigners have asked “how would you know?”
