PERTH — St Johnstone host Motherwell at McDiarmid Park on Wednesday night (7.45pm) looking to respond to Saturday’s 4-0 defeat at Ibrox.
Manager Simo Valakari has warned that Motherwell’s recent results hide a side that played well in defeat to Hearts and will punish any lapse. Saints sit eighth; the visitors will try to end a six-game losing streak.
“We’ve asked the wind to be patriotic,” said fictional season-ticket holder Rab Petrie. “One direction. Ours. Is that so much?”
Tickets and team news via the club; leave the folklore at the turnstile.
