PERTHSHIRE — After the storm, fallen trees closed several rural roads across Perthshire, and the fictional Perthetic Roadworks Desk has to admit: they did it better than us.

“No cones, no consultation, no lights,” said a fictional engineer. “Just closed. Instantly. We’ve been trying to achieve that level of commitment for years.”

Crews are working to clear roads. Please don’t try to drive round or move fallen trees, especially near power lines.
