In Praise of Second Thoughts, Officially Stamped

A screening opinion that gets looked at again is not weakness — it's paperwork growing up.

DUNKELD / PERTH — When a council says it will look again at a screening opinion, the satirical instinct is to sneer. Resist it.

Second thoughts are how adults avoid first drafts becoming forever. The Dunkeld quarry debate deserves evidence, not vibes — and not jokes at the expense of people who live next door.

Stamp it LOOK AGAIN. Then do the work.
