PERTH — Councillors will on Wednesday consider a business case for an in-house public transport service and major investment in community transport, with more collaboration proposed with neighbours.
The council currently spends about £15m a year on buses and other transport. Highland Perthshire and Kinross-shire are among the areas flagged as most vulnerable.
“If they can get a bus to Kinloch Rannoch on a Tuesday, they can do anything,” said fictional Pitlochry passenger Hamish Gow. Broxden roundabout issued a short statement saying it would “sit this one out” and wished everyone well from the third exit.
