Critics praise the piece's 'confident relationship with lamp-posts'.

PERTH — The cordon tape around the South Methven Street chimney has been quietly put forward for a major art prize by an anonymous admirer who called it “a meditation on boundaries, and also a literal boundary”.
“It works on so many levels,” said one visiting critic. “Mostly the level of about waist height.” The tape itself declined to comment, flapping noncommittally.
The council stressed that the cordon is a safety measure, not an exhibition, and asked the public to respect it. The art world agreed, saying that only made it more powerful.
The real story: Real: a cordon remains in place around properties on South Methven Street, Perth (The Courier).
