KINROSS — For twenty-three years, Tam Hogg has stayed up on clock-change eve to wind every analogue clock in his house the “honest” way, refusing to let phones “steal the ritual”.

“Sunday at 2am I’ll be there,” he said. “Tea, screwdriver, dignity.”

His wife confirms the microwave has been wrong since 2019 and is “not part of the ceremony”.
