Good News: Loch Leven Nature Trail Plans Promise Play for Children of All Abilities
The RSPB says the new trail will be inclusive. Parents welcome it. Geese say nothing but look supportive.

Plans for a new nature-themed play trail at Loch Leven are being designed to be inclusive, meaning children of all abilities should be able to enjoy it.
“That’s the bit that matters,” said a Kinross father. “Everybody gets to play. And everybody gets to look at a heron. It’s a heron. Who doesn’t want to look at a heron?”
The plans, which still need the council’s approval, would replace the existing play area with a trail inspired by the reserve’s wildlife.
Local children have already sent in suggestions, including a giant goose to climb on, a log tunnel and “an otter that talks”. The RSPB says it will consider the first two.
