Good News: Kettins Pupils Get Their Own Sports Bus, and the Back Seat Is Already Spoken For
A council transport contract means the small Perthshire school's athletes can get to fixtures. Rivals in Meigle are said to be 'very worried'.

Pupils at Kettins Primary have something to celebrate after a council contract was put in place to take them to sporting fixtures in Meigle and Blairgowrie.
“It means we can actually get there,” said one pupil. “Before, my mum had to drive, and she sings.”
Staff said the arrangement would help children take part in more sport, which is good news for fitness, friendship and, crucially, for the parents who no longer have to rearrange their afternoons.
The back seat of the bus has already been claimed by P7, in line with ancient tradition. P4 is said to be “working on it”.
