PERTH — A young inventor in China has built an electric flying skateboard inspired by a comic-book villain and flown it over rivers and valleys, prompting a flood of enquiries from Perth.
“Could it go over Broxden?” asked a Scone commuter. “Not round. Over. That’s all I want in life.”
Experts point out the device is experimental, not certified and not a mode of transport. Perth motorists say “neither is the A9, and we use that.”
