PERTH — Rain, which has been carrying Perth’s weather single-handedly since roughly 1350, is reported to be “livid” at being upstaged by wind and handed a mere yellow warning until 3pm Sunday.
“Up to 80mm in places and I get yellow?” it fumed. “Wind gets amber for just blowing about.” Flooding is possible; drive carefully.
The real story: Real: yellow rain warning for Perth & Kinross 9pm Sat–3pm Sun; up to 80mm (P&J/Courier).

No letters yet. The town is uncharacteristically quiet.
