Sunday Sunny, Then the First Proper Frost: Perth Begins Annual Hunt for Ice Scraper
Clear skies on Sunday give way to a low near 0°C. Monday morning will feel like −1°C, which Perth will describe as 'baltic'.

After a damp Halloween evening, Sunday is forecast to be bright and sunny with a high of about 12°C — followed by the first proper frost of the season, with temperatures dropping to around zero overnight and Monday morning feeling like −1°C.
Perth’s motorists have begun their traditional search for the ice scraper, which was put somewhere sensible in April and has not been seen since.
“I’ve found three umbrellas, a Saints scarf from 2014 and half a Twix,” said one Craigie driver, emerging from her boot. “No scraper.”
Gardeners are advised to bring in tender plants, cover the dahlias and say a few kind words to the geraniums. Dog walkers should expect slippery paths on the Inches on Monday morning.
Monday itself will be sunny but cold, with a top of around 10°C.
