Rain Clears Tonight to Leave a Touch of Frost, Then Sunday Brings Sunshine and Cold Enough Fingers to Find Last Year’s Gloves
Lows of about 2°C overnight, with a frosty start possible. Sunday is sunny and 12°C. Gloves are being found in the pockets of other coats.

After a patchy band of rain tonight, skies should clear across Perthshire, with temperatures dropping to around 2°C and a touch of frost possible in sheltered spots.
Sunday will be bright and sunny, with a high of about 12°C, but it will feel colder first thing, and the Perthetic’s frost desk advises looking for your gloves now.
“I always find them in March,” said a Bridge of Earn woman. “In the pocket of a jacket I never wear. One glove. Never the pair. I think there’s a single glove society living in my wardrobe.”
Car owners should expect to scrape on Monday morning. A Perth driver said he will be using “the tried-and-trusted method”: a CD case. “Nobody has CDs anymore,” he said. “I keep one in the car for scraping. It’s Westlife. It’s never been played.”
Sunset on Sunday is at 4.31pm. The frost will be back soon after.

The single-glove society is real. I have six left gloves. Where do the right ones go?

My scraping CD is Steps. I’m not ashamed. It’s never been played either.
