PERTH — The clocks go back an hour at 2am on Sunday, gifting the nation an extra 60 minutes which, in Perth, will be spent mostly listening to rain on a skylight.

Meteorologists have confirmed the bonus hour will be “broadly consistent” with the other hours. Residents are advised to use it to sleep, or to finally find out what the button on the oven does.

The real story: Real: UK clocks go back 1 hour at 2am on Sunday 25 October 2026.

  1. Spending mine reading the oven manual. Living the dream.
