'Ice doesn't do wind,' repeats skip, sweeping for emphasis.

PERTH — While footballers negotiate gusts and golfers negotiate foliage, Perth’s curlers remain indoors on purpose.

“We’ve been ready for Chloe whether she was named or not,” said fictional skip Elspeth Wallace. “The ice is the ice. Douglas is still shouting HARD. Continuity.”

Other sports have been invited to visit, wipe their feet, and leave the wind outside.
