PERTH — After Storm Austen and with Boelo next, a fictional civic group has demanded Perth & Kinross get a say in storm names.

“Austen is fine,” said a spokesperson. “But we’d like Derek, Agnes, or Cone. Something we recognise.”

The Met Office was not asked and will not reply.

The real story: Satire on named storms Austen/Boelo
