In Praise of Emma Street, Accidental Bypass of the Year

A love letter to the road that keeps absorbing Blairgowrie's buses.

Somewhere in Blairgowrie, Emma Street did not ask to become infrastructure. It became infrastructure anyway.

While the A93 is resurfaced, buses pour down it like a very polite invasion. Curtains twitch. Flasks are raised. History is made at 20mph.

When Phase 2 ends, I hope someone gives Emma Street a certificate. Or at least a new bin.

The real story: A93 Blairgowrie diversions via Emma Street (PKC)

The views expressed are those of the reader, and frankly that's on them.

No letters yet. The town is uncharacteristically quiet.
