SCONE — We remember Woolly Wendy’s, a wool shop with a bell on the door, a cat on the counter and firm views on acrylic (“never”).

It knitted Scone together for 39 years. It is survived by a cardigan in every house, most of them with one sleeve slightly longer than the other.

No letters yet. The town is uncharacteristically quiet.
