PERTH — A huge study of 300 million games of Monopoly has found that the worst mistakes are refusing to trade, hoarding cash and stopping at three houses, and Perth families say this explains everything.
“In our house we play the Perth edition,” said a father from Kinross. “Nobody wants Broxden. Landing on it costs you three laps. And the Free Parking is the South Inch — but you have to use the app.”
One Scone grandmother has been unbeaten since 1987 “because I never trade, ever, with anyone, out of spite”, which the researchers say is technically a bad strategy, “but there are exceptions.”
