I Was Ghosted by a Storm and I Am Taking It Personally

Columnist had cleared a shelf for Chloe. Shelf remains empty. Heart remains dramatic.

I do not ask much of a storm. Arrive, howl, leave. Chloe did not even arrive as herself. She sent a yellow warning and a vibe.

I had knitted a tiny scarf for the loyalty card. I had told the neighbours. I feel like I’ve been left on read by a low-pressure system.

Next time, Met Office, just tell me it’s a situationship. I can handle honesty. I cannot handle aspirational stamps.

The real story: Fictional.
