Forecast: Chloe Declined the Name, Accepted the Wind Anyway

Yellow warning into Tuesday evening; Wednesday calmer, Thursday misty, Friday 'don't get cocky'.

TAYSIDE — The Met Office left Tuesday’s system unnamed, which has not stopped it from blowing things about. Yellow wind warnings ran into the evening; gusts remain strongest on exposed coasts.

Outlook: Tuesday, breezy with residual grievance. Wednesday, calmer with showers of mild embarrassment. Thursday, mist and fog possible under light winds. Friday, a front may bother the west; the weekend looks quieter.

Temperatures around 10–12°C, which feels like 6°C if you look at Broxden the wrong way.

The real story: Yellow wind warnings Tuesday; system not named Storm Chloe (BBC Weather / Met Office)

  1. Declined the name, kept the wind. Rude.
