PERTH — Perth Art Gallery will open a major Lys Hansen retrospective on 27 November, celebrating the acclaimed Scottish artist in her 90th year with new and rarely seen works.
Fictional Perth gallery-goers have begun rehearsing. “I’ve practised the thoughtful nod,” said one. “And the phrase ‘the brushwork is very honest’. I don’t know what it means but it usually works.”
Culture Perth & Kinross continues a busy autumn, including craft projects and museum programming. Real tickets and dates are on their site; our rehearsal nods are free.

No letters yet. The town is uncharacteristically quiet.
