A90 — Hundreds of traffic cones believed to have been blown from Perth to Dundee are reported to have begun the journey home, in a slow orange convoy along the A90.

“They’re walking in single file,” said a fictional lorry driver. “Very orderly. One was helping another one across the slip road. It was quite moving.”

On arrival in Perth, the cones are expected to be immediately placed on a road that doesn’t need them.

The real story: Fictional.

No letters yet. The town is uncharacteristically quiet.
