COUPAR ANGUS — Fictional homeowner Pat Ogilvie, 58, has been told for a decade she has “too many candles”. On Sunday, when the power went off, she lit 140 of them.
“The whole street came round,” she said. “My husband had to admit it was lovely. He also had to admit it was very warm. We opened the windows. During a storm. It was a strange night.”
Please use candles safely and never leave them unattended.
The real story: Fictional.
