PERTHSHIRE — A fictional tourism group has unveiled ‘Storm Breaks’, inviting visitors to experience “authentic Scottish weather, delivered sideways”.
“Some people go to the Caribbean,” said a fictional spokesperson. “We offer something rarer: the chance to hold onto a lamppost in Pitlochry while your hat goes to Aberdeen.”
Visitors are reminded that the real-world advice during warnings is to avoid unnecessary travel. The Storm Breaks are, therefore, best enjoyed from a window seat with a scone.
The real story: Fictional.
