KINROSS — Reports that former Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has been encouraged to consider running for UN secretary-general have prompted a fictional Kinross community group to advertise its own vacancies.

“If they’re taking applications from anybody, so are we,” said a fictional secretary. “We need a treasurer and someone to do the urn. Global experience a bonus. Must be able to work the urn.”

At press time the post had attracted three candidates, a dog and a man who just wanted to know where the toilets were.
