Astronomers Have Found a Green Star. I’ve Found a Green Bin That Hasn’t Been Emptied in Three Weeks.
Who's the real scientist here, asks a Craigie resident.

Astronomers say they’ve identified the first green star, a white dwarf with sodium in its atmosphere. Good for them. I’ve identified a green bin in Craigie that hasn’t been emptied since the start of the month and has developed its own atmosphere.
Mine also glows faintly at night. Nobody’s giving me a grant. Nobody’s naming it. I’m calling it WD J-Craigie-1 and I’m writing a paper.
Douglas Abernethy is a columnist and amateur astronomer of bins.

No letters yet. The town is uncharacteristically quiet.
