A long life of reinvention for Perthshire's hardest-working wee red box.

PERTHSHIRE — We mark the passing of a red telephone box which, in its long career, has been a phone, a library, a defibrillator station, a seed swap, a lost-property office and, finally, a shed for a lawnmower.
“It never complained,” said a villager. “It just took whatever we gave it.”
It is survived by a book about birds and an umbrella that no one has claimed since 2018.

No letters yet. The town is uncharacteristically quiet.
