PERTH — As much of Europe prepares for clocks to go back this weekend, Perth has formally asked to be moved into whichever time zone Spain is in, “on the grounds that it might bring the weather.”
“We’re not asking for much,” said a campaigner. “Just the time. And the light. And the oranges. And maybe the coast.”
Officials pointed out that time zones do not control the weather. Campaigners said “you don’t know that. Has anyone tried?”
