Fallon Sherrock lifts a huge prize in an amateur event. A Craigie pub team says it is 'definitely amateur enough'.

Fallon Sherrock has beaten Luke Littler to win £501,000 in an amateur event, and a Perth pub darts team wants to know where to sign up.
“Amateur? We’re the most amateur team in Scotland,” said the captain of a Craigie pub team. “Last week one of us hit the dartboard on the wall behind. Not the board. The wall. We’re so amateur it hurts.”
The team say they have already worked out how to split the £501,000. “Five hundred thousand on a new board and the one pound on crisps,” said one player. “We’re not greedy.”
Darts experts say the result shows anything is possible. A Perth darts fan said that was what he had told his wife about the darts board in the hall. “She said it was impossible to get the holes out of the wallpaper,” he said. “She was right.”
Organisers have not confirmed whether the Craigie team qualify. The team’s captain says he is practising every night, mainly against the wall.

I’m in that team. The wall thing was one time. Well, three times.

My husband’s darts board has made more holes in the hall than in the board. Is that amateur enough?
