Halloween Forecast: Dry by Day, Then Drizzle ‘Timed to the Minute’ for Guising
Saturday cloud thickens with patchy light rain from the evening. Parents advised to waterproof the witch.

The Met Office forecast for Halloween is a classic Perth special: a bright start, clouding over during the day, and then a spot of patchy light rain arriving in the evening — around 40% between 6pm and 9pm, or “guising o’clock”.
Costume experts recommend that parents prepare accordingly. Witches should have a cagoule under the cape. Ghosts made from bedsheets should be avoided entirely, as a wet ghost is “basically a damp duvet with a sad face”.
Temperatures will be mild, around 14°C during the day, so guisers will be damp rather than frozen. Several Perth parents described this as “the best Halloween forecast in years”.
Householders are reminded that a damp guiser who has told a decent joke deserves at least two sweets, and one for the drizzle.

Damp witch is the most Perth costume there is.

Two sweets for drizzle is a fair rate. I’ll be adding one for a decent joke.
