PERTH — Buses that usually stop on South Methven Street and County Place are diverting via North Methven Street, Atholl Street and Caledonian Road to Glasgow Road while the chimney cordon is in place, and several buses have described the experience as “like a wee holiday”.
Passengers are asked to check stops before travelling. The southbound closure remains; northbound vehicle access has been restored. Thursday’s original report is here.
The real story: Real: bus services diverted; South Methven St closure reduced to southbound carriageways (The Courier).

No letters yet. The town is uncharacteristically quiet.
