Community effort hailed as 'Scone's Shawshank'; the other glove 'still at large'.

SCONE — A single brown woollen glove that has been balanced on a garden fence in Scone since 2015 has been reunited with its owner, now 23, after a village-wide social media campaign.
“I lost it walking to the primary school,” said the owner, who now lives in Glasgow. “Somebody put it on the fence so I’d find it. Nobody told me which fence. Or which year.”
Neighbours had moved the glove carefully each time the fence was painted. “It became a sort of landmark,” said one. “People gave directions by it. ‘Turn left at the glove.'”
The reunion was attended by twelve people, a dog and the local paper. The owner has kindly given the glove back to the fence “where it belongs.”

No letters yet. The town is uncharacteristically quiet.
