Lane Closure on Dunkeld Road Leaves Drivers Choosing Between the Queue and the Drive-Thru Queue
Works by McDonald's run until Friday. Locals ask whether one queue counts towards the other.

A lane closure on the A912 Dunkeld Road near McDonald’s in Perth continues until Friday, leaving drivers with a classic Perth dilemma: sit in the roadworks queue, or sit in the drive-thru queue, which is at least next to chips.
“It’s the same queue,” said a delivery driver. “One leads to a burger. The other leads to Inveralmond. I’ve chosen the burger three days running.”
A man in a Vauxhall Astra is understood to have joined both queues at once and is now technically in a loop.
Works should be finished by the end of Friday 30 October, in time for Halloween traffic and many small ghosts in back seats asking “are we there yet?”.

I had time to order, eat and digest a burger in that queue. Efficient.

Honestly the cones are the best-dressed thing on Dunkeld Road.
